Dr Sonn is a very good doctor but my mom was a patient for more than 20 years and as she was close to passing at Mercy never made an effort to see her. Not much compassion.

Dr. Sonn listens attentively, explains completely and understandably. His evaluation is thorough. Dr. Sonn is an excellent cardiologist and one in whom I trust totally.

Listen, Dr. Sonn is one of the best doctors in the medical field. He has been my cardiologist for the past two years. Since day one he has been so trustworthy. I wanted to review him and his staff for their wonderful service. Even today when the systems were down they remained cool and calm. In addition, Dr Sonn actively listens! He allows me to voice all my concerns, and he remembers vital things from the previous appointments. I never feel anxious going into his office, because I know I'm in great hands. I only wish all my other doctors were on this level. Thank you Dr. Sonn. You are a gift to the field of cardiology.

Dr Sonn is a good listener, he has an awesome bedside manner,and his compassion for his patients is shown every time I have an appointment. I have observed and listened to how he even handles others,and I must say that I am very much pleased and would highly recommend him to anyone that needs and wants a Good Dr, and Staff to have as care givers.

My father, Kevin B., is sitting at home right now clinging to his life and unable to breathe as my family waits for Dr. Sonn to return our calls. Our father needs a heart valve replaced and we are unable to schedule surgery without speaking to Dr. Sonn and Mercy Hospital's Administration. No one will return our calls. Today, we were told by office staff that it may take 6 months to hear back from Dr. Sonn and the hospital's administration to schedule surgery. We may not have that kind of time. Our family has never felt more helpless.
