Switched my primary physician a couple of years ago. On my first visit she asked how long I've had my heart murmur.....She sent me to see Dr Shamim and I instantly felt a trust, that I was in the right office, with the right doctor. We took our time, talked over many options, and a year later they replaced my Aortic Valve. WITHOUT OPEN HEART SURGERY! Love this guy and I know if you visit with him, you'll feel the same.....
Dr. Shamim has been very helpful in treating my condition. He has a great " bedside manner" and talks to you in a way you can understand the problem. He explained thoroughly what the problem was and the method which would best get me back on the road to recovery. My wait time in the waiting room has always been short and the Staff have been great. Glad I was able to find this quality of Doctor when I needed one.

Dr. Shamim is a great cardiologist. He is thorough and he explains his plan of care in a clear and comprehensible fashion. He was able to schedule my parents to be seen so they may be cleared to fly back home - they both had a difficult time with altitude related hypoxia. Dr. Shamim and his office staff were all caring, understanding and supportive. Richard and David were exceptional with my father. I can't thank them enough for squeezing them in, providing optimal care and giving us peace of mind that they were both cleared for safe travel back home.
Dr. Shamim was thorough and really took my concerns seriously and helped me understand the diagnosis and treatment. He took his time to help me understand the results of my echocardiogram and really listened and answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly. Having a heart problem you need to see a cardiologist for is very stressful and scary, but Dr. Shamim made me feel respected and taken seriously and i felt i was got the best diagnostics and treatment plan available for my problem. Highly recommend him.
