St. Mary's Medical Center

I went to the SMMC ER this morning at 3. I was very impressed by thr the care and concern. Staff was fast and professional. SMMC is my hospital of choice. I felt like everyone was great. This includes the staff at front desk, the staff at the CT, nursing and the doctor. The labs and the EKG also went well. Thanks again to all of the staff. They worked as a team and all went smoothly.

I was seen in the pain clinic for lower back issues. I dont believe this review will get to where it needs to go but I feel like alot of people there deserve at the very least a huge thank you! They treat you as a human should. They do treat you very kindly, show concern and compassion. After I horrible experience at another facility and being treated like garbage ive discovered the difference is night and day. They are trying their best to help me get through the issue is have. I believe we'll get there. But all the way up they need acknowledgement that someone is grateful for all their efforts and treating me with dignity. The greeter is very welcoming. The registration crew is very kind and efficient. Some tend to remember your name even. The medical staff in the pain clinic itself make the whole experience seamless and no surprises. Thoroughly explain everything to you. You know what to expect. They dont treat you like a med seeker. Thats the way it was at the other place id been in Warrensburg. Not name dropping. But if I could afford to id at least buy the people I deal with there a thank you card or something to that effect. I cant review the rest of the clinics there but my personal experience has been great. I do not dread going to appointments. I look forward to it. Though hope it ends eventually through recovery. The hospital in general is very clean. The restrooms are clean too. The janitors deserve credit too. But if anyone there sees this review, please share it with mentioned people above. Thank you all.

I went in for a fairly routine procedure. The doctor was late to the appointment, but it was understandable given his situation. The nurses, however, were outstanding! They were everything you'd hope for in a positive experience. After my procedure I couldn't drive myself and so I had to wait for a prearranged ride to show up. My nurse, Shannon, took me outside to wait for the ride, as was her job, but the ride took almost 90 minutes to arrive. Shannon stayed outside with me and we had a great conversation the entire time. She could have taken me back in, been on her phone, doing paperwork... anything else, but she stayed with me, trying to problem solve when needed, but otherwise just engaging me in wonderful discourse. If all the staff are like the nurses that assisted me, then I can't recommend this place place enough! 10 / 5 stars... Highly recommend

I do not live near St Mary's hospital. I needed urgent care while near St. Mary's. They were all great.. I feel that I recieved the best of care. Everyone was so nice. If I lived closer I would only go there. Thanks to everyone there for helping me!

St Mary's in Blue Springs should be your provider of choice. They have the check-in process streamlined so you're not having to draw a number and wait. The staff treat you like you are family, some chat with you like you've been lifelong friends. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Great job!
