Terrible care and customer service from the Emergency Room staff. Incompetent care & extremely poor communication. No updates during ED visit. When you are caring for a patient, you typically review lab results explaining what you are looking for as well as reference ranges. How do you just say "everything checked out"! And a 3 lead EKG for a possible STEMI or NSTEMI is INSANE! Family member told they couldn't come back to be with their loved one who is suffering with pain until labs are resulted! WHAT?? No care or concern for patients pain management or comfortability! I will be contacting the agency responsible for licensing, compliance and safety! Tyler the PA is also very condescending when speaking with patients! DO BETTER! Care more! Or go home!

Extremely Disappointing Experience in the Emergency Room I recently had a distressing experience at Wayne General Hospital when I visited the Emergency Department due to severe chest pain. Unfortunately, the level of care and attention I received was far from acceptable. Upon arrival, I was NOT quickly assessed and taken to an examination room. I waited 10 minutes. However, once I was settled in, I felt completely abandoned. I was left alone in the ED room with no means to call for help. To make matters worse, the staff did not provide me with a call light, which is a standard safety measure in emergency situations. As someone experiencing severe chest pain, I was understandably anxious and scared. I tried to wait patiently, but as time passed, my discomfort grew. I felt powerless, unable to reach out for assistance when I needed it most. The lack of communication and support left me feeling vulnerable and neglected during a critical time. It's crucial for emergency departments to prioritize patient safety and welfare, and I believe this experience highlights a significant gap in that commitment. I hope that in the future, improvements can be made to ensure that patients are not left feeling isolated and abandoned during their time of need. I deeply encourage the management of Wayne General Hospital to review their protocols regarding patient care in the Emergency Department to prevent future occurrences like this.

The ER staff that signed me in were very quick, friendly and efficient. I then went to radiology for my ultra sound and they were equally as nice and professional and I was there less than an hour for the entire process! But the thing that impressed me most is that they had prayer over the loud speaker over the entire hospital about 10:00 A.M. The employees said that they do that daily. What a wonderful thing to do! I cut the top of my big toe went to ER because of their fast acting calling in the new foot dr she saved my toe ,,, the dr and nurses was so sweet,,, checked on me number of times Thank you to everyone
