Gregory S. McGee, M.D. is a native of Nashville, Tennessee. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the South in 1979, and graduated
from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1983. Dr. McGee did his externships at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, and the National Children's Hospital in Washington, D.C. He completed a general surgical residency at Vanderbilt University where he also served as Chief Resident from 1988 to 1989. Dr. McGee completed a two-year vascular surgical fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, from 1989 to 1991.
He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

When my adult son needed a hemodialysis fistula repair and extensive revision, I was worried about finding a really good vascular surgeon in the area. He has an extensive medical history and he really needed an exceptional surgeon. We found one in Dr. McGee. I had no idea a doctor/surgeon of the caliber of Dr. McGee could be found in MS! To say he is "The Best" is actually an understatement. Dr. McGee's expertise is exceeded only by his caring and true compassion for his patients and their caregivers. This surgeon would stand out regardless of location for too many reasons to name. He is truly in a class by himself!
If you have any vascular surgery needs.....particularly anything related to dialysis and need the Best, look no further than Dr. McGee. His office staff is wonderful and his Nurse Bethany is great. Thank you Dr. McGee!

The appointment was for my mom with dementia. I was out of town so the doctor FaceTimed using my husbands phone. He talked to my mom (not me) and did not push surgery-actually recommended waiting at her age. He answered my questions and made sure my mom was included. Great experience!

Dont bother having an appointment. Had a 2pm appt today for my mother who is wheelchair bound and has trouble sitting for long periods of time. It is currently 4:40pm and over 2 1/2 hours from the appt time and we are still sitting in their freezing lobby with my mother in serious pain from sitting to long...
No one has bothered to even come out and explain what the delay is or has even bothered to check on us...

My experiences with Dr Magee was AWEFUL! His care for the Elderly, especially in nusery home facilities is cruel. He does not take time or effort to ensure proper care is taken. My father died due to his delaying treatment options months ago. I Will not recommend this Dr . I pray The Nusery Home Review and other agencies investigate his ethics.
