About Dr. Wesley S. Bennett, MD - Cardiovascular Institute of the South

Dr. Wes Bennett is an interventional cardiologist at CIS in Meridian. He earned his bachelor's degree in biology at Tulane University in New Orleans, and his doctorate at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson where he also completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship. Dr. Bennett is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology and has earned the designation of diplomate in all three areas. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Mississippi State Medical Association, the Guardian Society at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, and the American Medical Association.
