About Dr. William P. Nichols, M.D.

Dr. Nichols graduated from St. Andrew's Episcopal School and attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, earning his medical degree. Dr. Nichols then completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowships in both cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. During his cardiology fellowship, Dr. Nichols received focused training in peripheral vascular disease and structural heart disease, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Dr. Nichols is board-certified by the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure in both, internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He is also a member of the American College of Cardiology.
