Dr. McCearley grew-up in Jackson, MS and is a graduate of Jackson Preparatory School (Jackson Prep). She graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi School of Nursing. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Following graduation from medical school, Dr. McCearley completed an internal medicine residency, served as chief resident, completed three years of a cardiology fellowship, and finished two years of a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship. She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.

Dr McCearley is an excellent EP. She performed pacemaker surgery on me to prevent heart pauses and did it with no pain or discomfort afterwards. Because of all the complications I had read about on the pacemaker group on facebook I was reluctant to have it done even if without it, I could have passed out and fell or even worse, died. If you ever need an Electrophysiologist she will be the one I would recommend.
This was my husbands first visit. It was easy to find/park. The waiting room wait time was very short. Everyone was so nice. Once in the back, the nurses were super nice and efficient. We really like Dr. McCearley was so nice and professional. She took her time with us explaining everything. We have a plan of action now and I feel confident that my husband is in good and capable hand.

The fact that Dr. McCurley was an RN before she became an MD makes her an even better MD. She is compassionate Insensitive to her patients. And she's got a great sense of humor to boot.
I was very happy with my whole experience. My first time at Jackson Heart couldn't have gone better. I was called quickly no hanging around in the waiting room. Doctor McCearly didn't make me feel rushed. She explained everything. She made me feel like her only patient. She listened which is so important. She is the best excellent doctor.
