I want to say thank you to Dr Ilercil, and the crew in the OR, everyone was so sweet and professional. I would also like to thank the Nurses and techs that cared for me in room 526. Their bed side manners were awesome. Thank you all for your kindness, and professional care.

Had a very good experience when taking my mom to the ER. She was taken straight back to a room and seen by a physician in less than two minutes. Her assigned nurse, Jay, was awesome. Against my wishes, she declined admission to the hospital.

My grandfather had a triple by pass surgery today. Everything went very well, doctors and nurses were super nice. We got an update roughly every 3/4 hours on his 7 hour surgery, which we appreciated so much!!. We are very thankful for the staff, care, and kindness we received while in the cardiac observation area!!
The ONLY complaint I have is that we weren't warned about the condition he would be in after surgery for that visitation. We weren't warned that he was on a ventilator, lying there basically looking lifeless, as if he were in a coma.. It was disappointing, my grandmother dang near fainted and had to have someone wheelchair her out of there.
Half of the family wouldn't have agreed to see him like that. At first, half of my thoughts on it was that we should've figured that condition, but the other half is thinking that we haven't been through this before to know even slightly know how Severe of a condition he was in. We were under the impression that he would be waking up, Not still Be under anesthesia.. So no, there was no awareness. We had no idea of the condition he would be in after surgery.
A warning would've been nice for us to be able to decide whether or not we wanted to see him like that....
I work at a vet ER and ALWAYS warn owners how their dogs will look during certain situations...
Staff should definitely warn family members on how the patient can/will look after surgery.
It should definitely be protocol.
Besides that, everything went great and I would definitely recommend this place over and over again. Just mentioning this in hopes of something being done so it doesn't happen to someone else's family with no experience in the matter.

I am doing Not Good at all. I've been waiting at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport in Cordiac to be notified that my, Uncle Pop was done with his procedure this morning and after 3 hours of waiting, Nurse Chris in Cardiac, says she came out and asked for me (I never left the waiting room. She absolutely did not.) Very saddened by her actions. Enough is Enough
