Singing River Cardiology

Poor communication and followup. It should not take 2 weeks to receive simple test results simply because the practioner is on vacation. When i leave a message with detailed and pertinent information regarding a patient with a nurse, and i am told i would receive a call on a certain day, i expect follow-through. Its standard practice and common courtesy. I understand you're busy with end of year appointments before deductibles start over in January, but patients deserve better care.

I am beyond frustrated with the lady I spoke to this morning at the medical practice. She showed no empathy when I needed help with my high blood pressure. Instead, she made my blood pressure go up When she hung up on me. I still haven't gotten the appointment I requested for a CT scan of my heart. This clinic does not care about their patients. They need to train their staff on phone ethics. I strongly advise against going to this clinic.

I can't believe what happened at the clinic today. The lady I spoke with was so rude and unempathetic. She made my blood pressure worse and even hung up on me! I had to call back and speak to the manager just to request an appointment for my high blood pressure and a CT Scan. I'm extremely disappointed with their lack of care for patients. They really need to improve their phone etiquette and professionalism. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I've worked decades as a hospital nurse in critical care. I cannot imagine a better cardiologist than Dr. Cherie Champagne. She is the only doc I've ever met than was a registered nurse first, and this I am sure makes a huge difference in care. She listens and spends time with you; not the 'fifteen minutes and that's it' practice:). Staff is great, pretty timely as well. I had a heart cath after I had a lung screen that showed calcium in my right coronary artery, an 80% blockage, and I was referred to Dr. Champagne. She did my cath and a few minutes afterwards I felt a 'little funny'--I soon passed out-- I had experienced a not uncommon reperfusion dysrhythmia, but this one was 'v-fib'--not so common at all:) I got cpr and the drugs and two shocks. I was revived and awake in four minutes. She and the crew at Ocean Springs handled the situation perfectly, obviously! She is the best. Period. Dr. Cunningham also saw me in the ICU and has fixed my varicose veins. He's pretty darn cool too! Look no further for your cardiologist than Singing River Cardiology and Dr. Cherie Champagne, MD, BSN, RN. Thank you.

Dr. Hamm is one of most passion doctors. I ever have in my life. He is one of the listener. I have ever met. I would highly recommend hiin. I have speech impediment, From me, he was beyond patience with me.
