United Hospital - Nasseff Heart Center

Terrible communication. This place has gone so far down hill. I showed up for an appointment after a long and busy workday and was told it was cancelled. No one bothered to call me to tell me. Funny how there is a sign in the waiting room that says patients will be sent away if they are abusive, but the staff here abuses patients by treating them like dirt, like they don't matter as human beings. Appointments take months to get. You spend literally hours on hold trying to even make an appointment. If you miss one of their calls where they ask for some information, you have to dial the general number and hold for sometimes hours to try to get to the person who requested the information. They do not even use texts. Whoever runs the so-called communications department is completely incompetent. So sad as this used to be a state of the art facility now ruined by incompetence and general disdain for their patients.

Excellent heath care--but TERRIBLE system for making appointments. They do not schedule farther than 2 months in advance, you cannot make an appointment in MyChart, and wait on hold a minimum of 30 minutes to get someone. I love my cardiologist but have had it with the system where he works.

I want to know why United Hospital in St Paul sent me all the way to Minneapolis Heart Institute knowing I live close to W 7th Street when they could have simply sent me to this place especially since I'm 70 yrs old and prefer to do as little driving as possible.

I recently visited the John Nasseff heart clinic at United in St. Paul. What could have been a stressful appointment, was made very pleasant by the staff. They were wonderful! Starting with the gal at the front check in, to Mandy, Maddie and Casey. Thank you to all for making this a pleasant experience! Kudos for a most exceptional "bedside manner" and the ease and efficiency of my testing!

Care is great.. Getting appointments suck! Paid parking sucks!
