If I could give this doctor 0 stars I would. After experiencing chest pain for 10+ years I thought I would be in good hands after reading others experiences. I completed an echo stress test which showed abnormal results and was positive for ischemia. My resting ECG analysis also showed sinus rhythm/sinus tachycardia with normal conduction, T-wave inversion, an additional 1 mm of inferolateral ST depression indicating ischemia during stress, occasional PVCs, frequent APCs, atrial runs and dysrhythmia. However, after all of this he determined my stress test was likely a "false" positive. When I asked him what he thought it could be he told me "I can tell you what it isn't but I can't tell you what it is". I'm a very active, healthy female in my 30's with a doctorate degree in the medical field and I felt degraded after he told me "to follow back with primary care for my likely noncardiac chest pain." I felt like he wrote me off and had no other suggestions to find answers and made me feel incompetent. After my horrible experience I got a second opinion at Mayo cardiology in Rochester. After I had an ECG and saw my cardiologist for an evaluation she immediately told me it was cardiac related and told me to cancel the rest of my appointments they had planned. She said if I wanted answers that I should have a cardiac catheterization with spasm provocation completed. That was the one test that provided the answers I've been looking for after all these years. I was diagnosed with a clinically significant distal LAD myocardial bridging and put on medication to alleviate my symptoms. The care I received at Mayo was the absolute best with the most knowledgeable staff. I will not be going back to Allina for my cardiac concerns in the future and am disappointed in the care I received.
