Park Nicollet Clinic and Specialty Center St. Louis Park 3850 Building

They are using self check in for eye appointments. My husband checked in, the system said you can take a chair, he waited an hour and then when he asked what was taking so long they said they showed him as a no show. He said there was no one at the front desk to even ask what was taking so long, finally he grabbed someone coming out and they rechecked him in. He waited almost 2 hours. That is not good service at all. Will never go back there again. I can understand trying out a self check in system but clearly they need to have front desk person if there are issues.

Honestly, felt like I was not being heard. However people of color and healthcare have never really gone together. So maybe it was as just me this time? The good parts about my experience were as follows, it was clean, check in was easy and the nurse and doctor didn't keep me waiting too long.

Went here to visit MD Allison K Jenness and after growing up and now having children of my own, my Park Nicollet visit today was the first of a horrible experience. My appointment was for 1:45 pm, 2:10 rolled around and still hadn't been seen. No one cared to inform me that she was running behind at the least, I poked my head out of the room to see how much longer would I have to wait, the nurse told me Jenness would be in a few minutes. 2:20 rolled around still no show and the nurse popped in to say that I can continue to wait or reschedule (no sorry for the wait or anything). Mind you I had my 3 month old with me (thankfully brought help with me) and also had another appointment at 2:50 to attend to at a different facility. Few more minutes pass and I over hear a conversation regarding me by the nurse and MD Jenness speaking about me and my appointment and yes my door was open. Jenness "I don't know why they would schedule the appointments so close. If this was a patient of mine, they'd know and understand that I'm clearly with another patient." They continued to talk and then it went quiet so I'm expecting for her to finally come see me. NOPE! 2:28 pm I gathered up and left, never was seen, not one apology given, racing to my next appointment, and calling the Park Nicollet main number to now having to inconveniently make a new appointment and to complain after encountering such disrespect, unethical, unprofessional and inconsiderate behavior by these staff. Truly wish that I can give zero stars. I read Jenness "About Me" let's just say she is the complete opposite.

I was told my car would be towed at the pick up and drop off because an ambulance was coming I was in and out within 2 minutes to drop off client. Maybe y'all should build an emergency entrance only for your ambulances and not share where people drop off and pick up. To make things easier have people at the drop off/pick up to take people inside for their appointments. Y'all got the money so build an emergency entrance like all the other hospitals.

Complete utter ridiculous been coming here 25 plus years never seen anything like it! Young adults horsing around like a play ground I still haven't received my results in over two months as a senior these labs are vital where is the supervisor?
