My mom had cataract replacement surgery here that resulted in complete vision loss in that eye. We told the nurses she was allergic to betadine and they didn't know what to substitute it with. She's had many surgeries where a substitute was used. They used castille soap. She got a horrific infection and had to have a 2nd surgery to clean it out. Every 2 weeks she went back and was told it'll take time and to keep waiting. In the 2nd surgery they admitted she hadn't been disinfected enough in the first surgery - hence the infection. Her tissue was damaged and she can't see and will have to get an artificial eye. She's 89 and the Dr. told her "she'll get used to it" (seeing with only 1 eye). Zero compassion. Now she's at an even greater risk of falling and can't enjoy her quilting and reading. Thanks for diminishing her quality of life.

I didn't wait that long for my appointment maybe 20 minutes. All of the receptionist were very friendly. For the most part, I think you get what you give in life. If you are friendly to someone, even if they are having a bad day, they will appreciate it more than you know. I had VMT in both eyes. Dr Raynolds did a fantastic job with my vitrectomy surgery. He is very talented and I highly recommend him. If he does your sugary you are in good hands. FYI This is a real review from a real patient not just a fake review like many other companies do to make themselves look good. He did my surgery at the St Cloud hospital. All the nurses were very friendly. When I had my second eye done, my first nurse was new and wasn't very good at starting IV's so a second nurse had to do it. But no problem it didn't hurt much. Just a pinch. Be sure to compliment the nurses when they help you, they have a very stressful job and you will make their day if you do. I would give Dr Reynolds 10 stars if I could, after all he did a great job and saved my eyesight and for that I will be eternally grateful. If he does your surgery I'm sure you will be very happy with the results. : )

Be prepared to wait....and wait....and wait some more. I scheduled an appointment for 2:20pm. I left work with enough time to get me there on time with my hour drive. I checked in 10 minutes early as requested when the appointment was made. At 3:45, I finally decided that it was time to ask when i would be seen. There were several people that left after their appointments were finished and nobody was called back until after I asked. Too bad they have to be the only ones in the area or I would switch. Bring your lunch and your book. Be prepared to way a LONG time
