Patient
I went in on a Tuesday morning for a severe ear infection. I am very pleased with how quickly I was seen, they brought me back right away and it was less than an hour that I was in urgent care. I really do prefer the process of combined Urgent Care and ER because it's 24 hours and it's not easy to find urgent care that is open 24 hours, and I think the process of triaging patients for urgent care or ER really streamlines the process in how quickly patients get seen and they're seen in the appropriate department. I appreciate that my doctor and nurse were so kind and empathic, they also were patient and assuring to me and answered my questions and concerns and they explained what type of ear infections I had and made sure I understood. This building is pretty nice and it's very convenient and nice that they have a pharmacy here because I was able to just pick up my antibiotics right after being seen in urgent care, and it was nice that there's also a cafe here and I was able to get a drink and a muffin so I could immediately take my antibiotic when I picked it up. If I ever need ER or urgent care, this will be on my list of preferred places to go. The doctor and nurse made me feel cared for and they really made me feel at ease and comfortable even whilst being in severe pain from a very bad ear infection. Their kindness and care made me feel like I wasn't seen as just a number or just a patient, they took the time to really see me as a person and that really does make me want to go back to this hospital should I ever need to again, because kindness goes a long way. I was seen by Nadia Poquette and I don't remember the nurse's names... They were really helpful and kind... they helped me feel less anxious and more at ease, and it was a good experience during my urgent care visit.
