May 27, 2023, Doctor Mikesell did a TAVR proceedure on me through my groin. He nicked my artery. He made no effort to repair it and let me bleed for 4 days. He wanted to send me home but my adult son made a big fuss. They gave me no painkillers because I had ICU delirium. I think the pain caused it but they blamed it on painkillers. I was in so much pain, that I could not stop yelling for help. After my son's insistence, they put a stint in me on Saturday, May 27th, 2023. I ended up having to have a few transfusions. That was the last straw with St. Lukes for me. I switched all of my cares to Essentia after that. Today is November 23, 2023. My left leg still has the hematoma from that experience. My left knee is still numb and I have trouble lifting my leg. It was my strongest leg until they nicked my artery. Now it is in constant pain. I do not recommend him at all. I feel like they tortured me.
