Great service and care provided by the team at this location. The checkin process was very smooth and both the nurse and doctor who saw me were very kind and considerate. The clinic already called me the next day to discuss a follow up with a staff doctor.

I visited this urgent care for a simple concern, and they immediately pushed a series of expensive tests without explaining the costs upfront. I only found out when I got the bill--outrageous pricing for routine services! The staff was more focused on running unnecessary tests than actually addressing my issue. Definitely won't be coming back. If you go, make sure to ask about pricing before agreeing to anything!

I followed the directions on Google, made an appt. That appt put me in line at Urgent care. I was in and out in 1 hour. The NP was so helpful and patient. So great when you do not feel your best.

I got charged $350 for a 5 minute appointment in which the doctor took one look at my leg and gave me a diagnosis. Didn't do any real physical exam - the nurse taking my standard vitals did more examination on me. Asked zero questions about medical history. Simple, easy, non-life threatening diagnosis. My entire trip took quite literally 15 minutes start to finish from walking in, filling out forms, getting seen by the nurse and the doctor, and walking out. Yet I was billed as a CPT 99214 - a visit of 30-39 minutes, extensive medical exam, complex diagnosis, and/or detailed family history. I submitted for a billing review and got a letter that said it was rejected and that "the documentation supported the bill". So either the staff is incorrectly documenting or apparently a rash on your leg is a severe medical appointment for Allina Health Champlin Urgent Care. I called the billing department upon receiving the letter and they said they would have a supervisor get back to me to discuss. 11/27: Spoke with Debbie at the billing center. She explained doctors are able to bill for complexity of visit or time of visit - whichever is higher. And simply because a rash could be considered systemic means it's complex and therefore you will get charged $400 for your 2 minutes of time with the doctor.

I understand EMTALA does not apply to urgent cares but I still don't think this situation is right - I came to this urgent care 40 minutes before close and there was NO ONE in the waiting room. They refused to check my 3 year old's ears for an ear infection because they were "at capacity and trying to finish up". We were sent away. She had a double ear infection.
