James E. Wilks, MD, has been practicing in the area for more than 17 years. His clinical interests include echocardiography, invasive non-interventional cardiology, lipid disorders and medical information technology. Dr. Wilks also has additional training in adult transthoracic and stress echocardiography. He is the medical director of the Trinity Health Michigan Heart Lipid Clinic and chief medical information officer at Trinity Health Michigan Heart.

I would highly recommend him , he looked over my chart and even took notes on my last EKG i had done at u of m almost 20 years ago.

Dr did not review his notes from my previous appointment. If he had he would have known my aneurysm had not changed in size. He did not prepare properly for my appointment. During a recent hospitalization I learned that my heart failure existed when he ordered tests for me 2.5 years prior. He did not inform me of heart disease simply set a note saying don't change medications.
