About Dr. Cyril Ruwende, MD, PhD
Cyril Ruwende, MD, PhD, is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. Dr. Ruwende has been practicing cardiology for more than 10 years and is the medical director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital. His clinical interests include coronary, carotid and peripheral interventions, as well as structural heart disease. Dr. Ruwende also speaks Shona.

Dr.Ruwende saw my Mother in the ER back in 9/16, he and his team in the cath lab did their absolute best to save her and we knew as she was so far into shock it was a risk, but it was the risk we had to take. Unfortunately she didn't make it, but the compassion, their efforts to save her and genuine sorrow at her loss touched me heart and soul. Thank you Doctor for all you did. As a RN of over 40yrs, I know that she understands that you did everything in your power, as do I. Nonetheless I'm grateful for what you do daily and I know she is too.
