From original diagnosis of mitral valve prolapse....to the actual surgery to replace the mitral valve, I felt completely at ease with Dr. Pruitt. He went over the different approaches to remedy my issue and explained which option was best for me and why it was the best option.
My surgery was very successful and my stress level was very low.

I can't say enough for Dr. Pruitt and his entire surgery team and office staff. If a rating higher than 10 were available, they would ALL get it. EVERYBODY was so helpful to me throughout the entire process. I've NEVER had a serious medical issue so the mitral valve issue created tremendous anxiety for me. Dr. Pruitt took time to answer ALL of my questions which helped put me more at ease with the entire process. Fortunately for me, he was able to use the robotics approach for my surgery (which is why I was directed to him by Dr. Lyons). I truly believe Dr. Pruitt's skills are second to none! Everything with the surgery and my recovery went fine. He is a remarkable doctor, surgeon and human being. The only sad part is that it has been like meeting a new friend that you really admire but most likely will never see again. I am so thankful that he was my surgeon and I would recommend him to everybody.

I feel lucky to have Dr Pruitt as my surgeon. He is down to earth and caring. Explains things in an easy to understand way as well as options and pros and cons of each. He did my aortic valve replacement three weeks ago. I feel great and already walking over three miles a day. I highly recommend Dr Pruitt.

Dr. Pruitt is an amazing person. He saved my life. I can't thank him enough. I had an Aortic Aneurysm. He repaired it and I just had my 1 year scan. I am pleased to say, everything looked great. Dr. Pruitt is a life saver and I am so grateful for his hands and mind.

I am a 67 M 5 days out from Aortic valve Replacement surgery. Met with Dr. Pruitt in a pre-op meeting. Having done a years worth of homework on TAVR v. SAVR I felt sufficiently educated about the pros and cons of each election. Knowing that I was in effect making a life changing decision I really wanted him to tell me without equivocation why he was going to suggest SAVR? After he laid out the calculus for his answer I was satisfied that my best interests were being considered. Throughout the balance of our meeting it was clear that he was very good at meetings like this and that I was in very confident hands. Keep you posted. Wish me well.
