LOVE this facility, support staff, and Dr. Alsamara! Context: New patient review/surgery sign off. Mom of 2 littles (one special needs) and caregiver for 3 other family members with a variety of severe medical issues. All that to say, I am pretty much at specialist appts for one reason or another almost daily. I've had previous heart monitor, echo, cat, etc... over the last 3 years. Not the biggest fan of previous 2 cardiologists. Was fully expecting him to glance through my chart, agree with previous specialists and scoot me out. NOT. He pulled up ALL of my testing, including spine and gastro history. Asked me follow up questions, thoroughly checked meds, confirmed current treatment plans, and explained future pathways without any real prodding from me. Even through in some relevant personal experiences to relate to current life events. Very calm demeanor. Pleasantly surprised to leave my appt feeling validated, seen, and heard. Very reasonable follow ups. Good way to start the day! Facility is clean, has ample handicap parking, valet, and there are handicap accessible bathrooms right near the entrance to the cardiology suite. All the ground level.

I received the best care when I spent a week in ICU in 2024. Thank you U of M hospital!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank ALL the nurses and doctors that took care of my baby, Nya Robbie Classen on Thanksgiving. We had a little health scare, and the care we received at Metro Hospital exceeded my expectations and then some! And I just wanted to thank every single doctor and nurse that stepped into our room yesterday, you all are some of the best healthcare workers out there and I appreciate you all so much.....Thank You:)!

My husband was the patient this time and they took great care of him. He was in for the weekend, unexpected emergency. Because of covid they still have visitor restrictions but it was only 2 people could go see him. All the staff was friendly and it was always clean.

My love one was admitted 3 weeks ago, they treated him according to his age, him and I had a horrible experience with the doctor and some of the experience nurses, the young nurses were more compassionate with him and I, I don't recommend families to take your elderly parents there I noticed things that make me so sad and desapointed with their system, and some of them are not working for the well-being of the elderly, anyway, Rest In Peace my love one! Sadly a broken hart person.
