I find it dishonest when I go for an annual physical and get an additional charge for "A brief emotional and/or behavioral evaluation from a doctor." I didn't ask for any of that nor did I receive such evaluation. This medical billing practice of charging us for questionable items like that is borderline FRAUD and needs to stop. This isn't necessarily the physician's fault, but their medical billing staff trying to maximize revenue for him on his behalf so he's indirectly responsible for it. The doctor needs to instruct their medical billing staff to stop charging for questionable items like this.
