Douglas R. Moore, DO

Dr. Moore is an excellent caring doctor. I wore a life vest for 8 mos to see if I could improve my ejection fraction with new drugs. Although they reduced my af by 95% they did not change the pumping action of my heart. I looked at docs because I was afraid of the device looking like a port, or being so awful that I always wanted it covered. Dr. Moore told me he was pretty good at hiding it. That turned out to be a major understatement!!! For sure he's an artist, and I am so thankful for his skill level, care and time during what was yet another health crisis. Dr. Moore did my father's pacemaker back in 2016 and he did an amazing job back then... BUT a few months ago my father started having complications with his pacemaker. His quality of life was going down hill fast and Dr. Moore would not return our calls when we needed him the most. I called the office several times to report that my dad's pacemaker wasn't working correctly according to the hospital and that he would need a new one. I tried to be patient. Even the staff at his office were not very friendly. I needed to get my father in for an appointment and the woman at his office said she was going to have him open up his schedule and call me back to book the appointment... well this also never happened. My father ended up passing away and I will never forget how I was COMPLETELY ignored by this Doctor. It's truly heartbreaking how some doctors just give up on the elderly. I advocated hard for my father every single day and all of his doctors knew me very well and how much of a fighter he was... he was truly a strong and determined man and did everything the doctors and myself asked of him because he really wanted to LIVE. He loved life! Towards the end my father asked me why some of his doctors seemed to not care anymore and I couldn't give him an answer.... even he saw the ugly truth. I am HIGHLY disappointed with Dr. Moore for putting my father on the side burner and I will never forget what he did. I hope I never run into him because I will give him a piece of my mind. It's so sad and troubling how ugly our medical system has become and I really thought Dr. Moore was 1 of the good ones.

Dr Moore is an excellent doctor. He is caring and extremely knowledgeable. He made me feel as if l could ask any question. He resolved my health issue and my quality of life is improved.

The summary of my visit emailed to me said that the patient was informed that not achieving the correct heart rate during the stress test may result in an operation implanting a pacemaker or something to that effect. Nothing of the kind was mentioned to me. Dr. Moore says and explains very little.

Dr. Moore diagnosed me with hypotension with no clinical indication and treated me as if I were hypotensive. This caused me to become very hypertensive and once he returned my phone call he showed no care as to what had happened and even questioned if my blood pressure was real. He was not interested in doing any testing or listening to what my symptoms were. He talked to me like he was dictating an office note and not like I was a real person. He was very dismissive and I wouldn't recommend seeing him if you want someone to actually listen to what's going on. :(
