Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital

I recently had surgery at Henry Ford Southfield Hospital in Southfield, MI, and I cannot say enough good things about the incredible team who cared for me from start to finish. Every single person I encountered made a stressful situation feel calmer, safer, and genuinely supported. Pre-Op Team - Maggie, Raven, Stacey & Sherri: These ladies set the tone for my entire experience. They were warm, patient, and reassuring, explaining every step and making sure I felt comfortable. Their kindness truly eased my nerves before surgery. Dr. Kamdar - Anesthesiologist: Professional, comforting, and extremely thorough. He took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel completely confident and safe heading into surgery. Dr. Rizqallah - Surgeon: Absolutely outstanding. Skilled, compassionate, and attentive. He made sure I understood my procedure and treated me with genuine care. I'm so grateful for his expertise. Ellie & Bob - PACU Team: Waking up from surgery can be overwhelming, but Ellie and Bob were amazing. They monitored me closely, kept me comfortable, and were incredibly caring and attentive during recovery. Courtney & Nel - Post-Care Nurses: These two were the perfect combination of professionalism and kindness. They checked on me constantly, managed my comfort, and made sure I had everything I needed. Their compassion made such a difference during the healing process. Overall, my experience at Henry Ford Southfield Hospital was exceptional. Every provider I met went above and beyond, and I'm truly grateful for their dedication and care. If you have to undergo surgery, this is exactly the team you want on your side. Highly recommend!

I had the best experience here. The minute we got to the surgery floor, we were greeted by Carmen with her huge smile and friendliness. Raven was aide who took me back, and she was also wonderful and caring. My Pre Op nurse was Candice and Post Op was Manera. Both of them went above and beyond and made me feel safe and taken care of. Shout out to my anesthesiologist and the male RN who gave me the nerve block...also both fantastic. Great care was received and I would definitely return for any more surgeries if needed!

If u can make it somewhere else then GO THERE! This is one of the WORST hospitals to be at in the Metro Detroit area. It use to be decent but now it is at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to care & professionalism. From the receptionist to the physicians and including all positions in between the quality of care is sub par! I would recommend this place to my enemy. There are a few that works there that is not included in this revoew but the majority is!! It's a HARD NO for me, I've talked to other people that feel the same way. These are people that I did not know before my last visit. One lady said that she checked herself out because it was so bad. Please take heed! At least pay extra close attention to EVERYTHING if u should go here anyway. Your life could depend on it!!

My in take Nurse was Candice. She was very kind and gentle with me. I had to stay overnight and my Nurses were LaToya and Abby. They were so kind and you could tell they really cared about me. I received great care from the minute I walked in the door until I left. Thank you for making a scary stay into making me feel seen and heard.

Got to be one of the worst hospitals in the area , takes an hour to get a breathing treatment, nurses down playing her pain n acting like someone's lying when we've been completely honest this entire time. The emergency room is completely terrible the tvs hardly work, the nurses throwing garbage on the floors... told them I was in pain they did nothing even after she was crying until she finally started begging for medicine. then you gotta ask 5 ppl for the same thing to finally get it. Got nurses saying totally different things. Also I've had a urine sample sitting in my room for hours that "they may or may not need" It's beyond ridiculous I don't know how these people have there medical license .
