Patient
I had an SVT ablation procedure done on 8/28/2025. Dr. Mustafa and his staff were phenomenal. Everyone treated me with respect and took good care of me. For the surgery, they did conscious sedation, so I was completely out of it and could kinda tell what was going on. There were only a few times while they were doing the ablation where I could feel pain, and where my heart would start racing, but they assured that it was necessary for them to figure out where they needed to ablate the tissue. It took longer than they expected, as there were multiple pathways that were blocked, so they wanted to keep me overnight for further observation. This was my first overnight stay in a hospital, but I didn't feel uncomfortable. Well, except for the part where they had to drain my bladder with a straight catheter - I could go without ever having to do that again. Aside from that, and the back pain that I experienced after my surgery from lying flat and not being able to sit up for several hours afterwards, I had a generally good experience. Staff was excellent, caring and friendly.
