Dr. Norman Kakos

I've been seeing Dr. N. Kakos for several years now, and the level of care has always been exceptional. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by Aja at the front desk, she genuinely wants to know how you're doing and makes you feel welcome. Precious, the office manager, does an excellent job keeping everything running smoothly. Kamala and the rest of the staff are consistently friendly, warm, and professional. If you're looking for a practice that truly fits your personal needs and treats you like more than just a patient, I highly recommend this office.

Great staff! Precious is great! My visit today was to get a yearly physical. I chose Dr. Norman Kakos to be my new primary care doctor. I'm glad I did. He took time with the exam. Ordered labs in order to identify what the hell is making me so tired. I recommend this office.

I have been going to Dr. Kakos for more than 20 years . I have been very happy with him and his office staff. Especially Asia when I have needed additional follow ups. Thank you Dr. Kakos and staff. I appreciate everything you do for me !!

If you have a disability, this is not the doctor for you. This office does not comply with ADA laws and denied my service dog access due to 'allergies' (no mention of any specific person in the office that had allergies, just an excuse to not follow the law!) They told me they would call me when my partner was in a room, but I ended up waiting almost an hour outside in the heat with my live medical equipment. On top of that, my partner only talked to Dr Kakos for less than a minute of his appointment after months of waiting & Dr Kakos seemed very unconcerned about my partner's daily panic attacks and depression because he isn't 'currently suicidal' ?! Guess we'll just have to wait! Receptionist was incredibly rude to us, and had the gall to ask my partner MULTIPLE TIMES if he wanted to make another appointment. No, thank you!!! We will take our business elsewhere, and tell everyone we know to do the same. I have reported this office to the Michigan Department of Civil Rights and the US Department of Justice for not allowing our fully trained and vested service dog public access. Hopefully they will work on resolving that issue in the future, but we will not be there to see it.

I have been going to Norman Kakos since his office first opened. I send my friends and family to him and can't say enough great things about him.
