Cardiovascular Institute of Michigan- Mohamad Ajjour M.D.

All I can do is share my experience. 10 years with this Dr. Ajjour and I am in worse shape then I was on my first visit to him. Keeps saying that we'll get to the bottom of this. All kinds of stress tests and imaging , with many heart catheter procedures and stents. So far 5 stents. Was I a guinea pig for this establishment? I was. I just went through another heart catheter back in March. According to this doctor everything is ok but I'm having all kinds of symptoms related to the heart. One being that I have a very low pulse if any in the right arm compared to the left arm. Left arm is with a very strong heartbeat. Right arm very very weak. Second opinion confirms I still have a blockage. I am scheduled for another heart catheter with a different cardiologist. No stress test or any other testing. Straight to the catheter. That's how strong my symptoms are but were missed by Dr. Ajjour.. He wants to keep his patients for life. He doesn't want to fix anyone. There's more money in it for him if he can keep you loaded with heart meds and not fix the problem. He'll have more visits and testing which are all money makers for him.. This doctor has distanced me because I did not except his everything is ok when I still have multiple symptoms. I was forced to go get myself a second opinion being that I finally saw through his scheme.. I now get angina while at rest. I never had a problem with having angina. He still says everything is good tho.. I no longer trust this doctor. At first I thought that perhaps he had saved my life. Looking back at the 10 years gone. He played me like a fiddle. Now that he's getting some feedback from me he has distanced me. Gullible me with my ok your the doctor.. I thought I was in good hands. I know now that I was not at a good place.. There was no concern about me. Be warned don't suffer for the remainder of your life like I have for the past 10 years. Update... I'm glad I went for a second opinion. I shouldn't have waited as long as I did. The new cardiologist found the issue. I had a blockage in the right coronary artery that Ajjour missed or caused after his last Cath.. Pulse in right arm still not as good as the left arm. I am being told that it's due to all the heart catheders I've had in the past , and them using the same arm over and over, causing scar tissue... Fast service awesome doctors and staff, also heart specialist did my ICD perfect implant surgery no complaints.

This so called Dr. And his idiot team Will force the highest priced procedure down you're thorat..he will way over dope you and lie to you and your family. He will not stop no matter how much stress and pain you are in. Than send you a bill. He either doesn't know heartburn from a heartattack or just sees a great opportunity to make a buck off ya.

I wouldn't go there again, everything was terrible,do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

This is a pretty cool place and Dr Barbish is a really good Dr he's even on the list of the top 100 Drs in Michigan
