Robin L. Elkus, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Elkus for I guess 7 or 8 years, and she is a consummate professional who answers my questions (and laughs at at least some of my jokes). What I consider an exceptional patient experience extends to the staff. Part of my annual visit is a CT Scan, which the office schedules for me, unlike other specialties I've encountered of late which have dumped the task on me. The whole process is effortless, and for that I'm a 5-star fan.

I was very happy with my initial appointment. However when I showed up for my second appointment, they said they didn't have me scheduled for a second. Even though I have an appointment card with that exact date and time on it. I had to wait over a month to get that appointment too. Very disappointed now that I have to wait two more weeks for another appointment. I took the morning off of work for this appointment too. When I expressed my disappointment, the woman at the front desk said I could wait around for an hour just in case the next appointment didn't show. As if I have all day to wait around to maybe get an appointment. Also when she asked me if I received a conformation call and I said no and I didn't recieved one for the first appoint over a month ago either, and we checked you have my correct number. The most disappointing part is if I hadn't showed up for my appointment today (and if this appointment was actually on the schedule as it should have been) I would have been charged $100, what do I get to charge you for having to miss work this morning and drive down to your office, just to waste my time and money?

Dr. Robin Elkus is an excellent Pulmonary Doctor. OMG, she gets the job done. she went above and beyond for my care and she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I like that she listens closely and gives her honest opinion. She always asks me if I have any questions and how I'm feeling. She sometimes seems in hurry but always listens, and always answers your questions. While I was in the hospital she always sat down and gave me her undivided attention for a few minutes, allowing you to talk to her and ask her questions. She's very through with her work and her professional answers she give you. I like doctor Elkus and I'd give her 10 stars if I could. I was just discharged today and was under her care the entire time in the hospital. And I FEEL GREAT! Dr. Elkus if you read this, I'm not sure if I told you THANK YOU for everything you did for me when I was hospitalized so thank you for everything you've done for me You're the greatest!

Dr Elkus is compassionate and attentive to her patients. And Cheryle and Pam are too. Great office in every way.

Dr. Elkus has been very good with me and my problems. Really appreciate her.
