Dr. Darda is an outstanding cardiologist and human being. She saved my life after a bad drug reaction that was slowing my heart. She still continues to keep in touch with me after several years and is very caring and thorough. I highly recommend her to anyone.
Dr. Darda saved my wife's father's life over 3 years ago. He is still going strong. She is amazing and caring. She also looks at quality of life and does not push for surgeries or radical procedures on an 87 year old man. More doctors need to be like her.
Horrible doctor. Her ego is what drives her. She's always right and never listens to the concerns of the patient. I passed out in my driveway a few weeks after seeing her. I went to the ER. They admitted me, with cardiology being the service I was under. Did 3 tests. All were negative. Saw Dardha...all she focused on was a diuretic I NO LONGER TAKE! She refused to listen to me or my husband, who is a physician. I was discharged within 6 hours of being admitted...to the hospital, not the ER. I also asked for a Doppler of my leg. She refused because supposedly some blood test rules out clots. Even if this test may have worked, why couldn't she give me some peace of mind by doing a Doppler. She did my heart. Rude. Ego driven. Arrogant. And honestly, not very smart, because doctors are supposed to take care of their patients. She discharged me without finding out what was wrong. Oh, I also asked her about a neurological consult and she blew me off. She couldn't even be bothered to take my blood pressure the correct way...manually, not the stupid machine that cuts off your circulation.
Dr. Dardanelle is a fantastic cardiologist and very easy to talk to. She listens and addresses your concerns but doesn't sugar coat things. My dad has been assigned to her 2 times while he visited novi providence Park. She made sure he was in her floor to keep a close eye on him. Really put me at ease.
