I've had asthma since I was a child and these past few months it's been getting very uncontrollable. I've been to this doctor's office on 2 separate occasions and each time they keep telling me "take the advair". They have me on a prescription meant for people with COPD. I have never had a lung study done and the doctor argued with me and told me I just must not remember. I requested to see a lung specialist and she said "they'll tell you the same thing". Somebody who has been asthmatic for 15 years and is using a nebulizer twice a day and the rescue inhaler 4 times a day. And she refused to give me the referral. AND taking the advair like they keep saying. Which you should not be on long term. I've been on it for YEARS!
