Bronson Advanced Cardiac Healthcare - Kalamazoo

I arrived after thinking it was at the main hospital and ran across the street next to the helipad. There is plenty of parking! I was greeted by a cheerful and very kind Kirstin at the front desk: she thanked me for my service because the VA ( Veteran Affairs) was covering my visit. She caught a couple of things in my chart that was not right and immediately fixed it! I really appreciated her thoroughness! My imager was Lindsey. She explained everything to me really well and allowed me to see the screen while she images so I knew what was going on. I am medical as well so I was intrigued by the process. It was very quick, and thoughtful. The facility is clean, professional, and prompt.

NOT HAPPY!!! They just called me 3 days before my FIRST follow-up appointment to rescedule me out one month. Caller could have cared less. This is ridiculous! They just don't give a shit.

I have seen Dr Iliev and Dr Franzon, both of whom are courteous, gentle, patient, and kind in explaining the issues and possible next steps. Very down to earth and surgery with Dr Franzon went smoothly to remove the extra beats (PVCs) from my heart! Forever grateful and blessed!

The referral for my heart test have been sent at least 4 weeks ago. I was promised yesterday that they would call me back to set up an appointment. That has not been done. I called this morning and could not get through to a human being. I am 72 years old and I'm not getting any satisfaction at all.

Dr Shonder has always been a pleasure to interact with. He doesn't seem rushed and takes time to answer my questions or explain things I don't understand. The staff is always polite and lovely. The heart failure clinic is an awesome team that are right on the ball. While mother sees Shonder, I've heard only positive about the other Drs too. My only complaint is the parking but that's because inconsiderate lazy visitors don't park in the structure.
