Hazel Park Urgent Care

I visited the clinic with my daughter. Unfortunately when walking in, she ended up having a secondary medical issue. (Not what we originally went in for.) The staff was very kind and accommodating to assure her comfort while trying to address the primary issue. During our visit there was an incident with a group of people coming in fairly close to closing. The receptionist was explaining why they weren't able to be seen, one of the women became verbally agressive, putting her hand behind the reception glass demanding someone look at it. The receptionist held firm while the MAs went to assist her. The young ladies handled the situation well while assuring their patients were safe and comfortable. After the incident the team was very apologetic for something that was outside of their control. *During this period the doctor still provided care for the patients. The whole situation was unique to say the least, but the level of care was still above and beyond. I just really appreciated everything they did with extra challenges.

Don't go here. went in for a strep test, made an appointment ahead of time. got there 10 minutes ahead of time, waited for over an hour before they took me in. they asked for name and pronouns during intake but none of the staff actually used the answers i gave. they did aggressively advertise ozempic shots to me though. took another hour before anyone actually saw me. it turns out they didn't mark my room as occupied so nobody knew i was in there until someone came to clean it. the actual appointment only took 5 minutes. the nurse swabbed my throat then told me the test would take about 20 minutes, said i could leave and they would call me with my results. i went home. two hours later and no phone call, so i called them. they told me that they had my test results but that THEIR SYSTEM HAS BEEN DOWN FOR A FEW DAYS AND I WOULD NEED TO COME BACK IN PERSON TO GET THE RESULTS, BECAUSE THEY CAN'T GIVE THEM OVER THE PHONE, WHICH NOBODY TOLD ME WHILE I WAS THERE. so now i'm driving back to the clinic in rush hour traffic, when i just want to be in bed. don't go here, go to the one in ferndale. update: they administered the test wrong and told me i don't have strep when i actually did, causing me to expose multiple loved ones and coworkers. this place is completely incompetent, do not go here.

Dr. Agha is my primary care physician and he is the BEST DOCTOR I have ever had. He takes his time with his patients, he cares, he listens and he is very thorough with everything down to lab work, as I have heart problems, he got me in with a new cardiologist immediately! The front desk staff and nurses are absolutely wonderful. The office is kept very clean and neatly organized. Karen the phlebotomist, is fantastic! I couldn't ask for a better Dr.s office! Their hours are very flexible, they're open until 9:00 p.m. Monday-Friday which is super convenient and open weekends...I also bring my 14 year old son to see Dr. Agha., he's also great with kids! I highly recommend his office. I relocated and live an hour away and I take the drive because it's worth getting honest answers to health issues and proper treatment!

It's less busy than usual and there is only another family waiting in the waiting room, but my daughter has been sitting in the patient room not being seen over 1.5 hours. When I told them we are leaving, they decided to see my daughter and said the doctor is with her already... Very disappointed.

The staff is helpful, supportive and response to urgent health cares immediately. Environment clean regardless of your stress they have a plan to help you, follow through. Pharmacy located inside no need to run somewhere else that's a plus for me and anyone needing medication before going back home. Sincerely, C. Dixon
