Haslett Primary Care

I have periods of time where I have insurance gaps and I'm on a med that cannot be missed - they always make sure I never go without even when I can't do a visit. Without their help and prompt care I would be violently sick. Thank you all

If I could give zero stars, I would. I recently experienced a serious breach of my medical privacy due to Haslett Primary Care's mishandling of my records. Without my consent, they received my emergency room records--despite the fact that I have not been a patient there since 2019. I never listed them as my current provider, and the hospital had clear instructions on who my current physician was. To make matters worse, when I began asking questions, my patient portal with Haslett Primary Care was suddenly deleted. This not only cut off my access to records I needed, but also disrupted my medical care with my current OB/GYN, whose office shared access through that portal. It feels like they attempted to cover up their mistake rather than take responsibility. The entire experience has been stressful, violating, and completely unacceptable. Medical records are supposed to be protected by HIPAA laws, and this situation makes me question how many other patients may have had their information shared without their knowledge. I have filed a formal grievance with Patient Relations, and I sincerely hope action is taken--but in the meantime, I would urge anyone considering this practice to think twice.

This place lacks in patient care! Was made to reschedule 3 times just to come for the 3rd appt and was told the front office scheduledme with the wrong dr?!?! 30 minutes into waiting as they were squeezing me in. Smh!! Its truly a waste of time trying to get care here!!

I have had like 4 different doctors here cause they do leave for reasons unknown to me BUT I have always still received great care from their nurse practitioner and the rest of the staff. When I went in for an ultrasound my toddler wasn't very happy and The ultrasound tech I saw was really kind to me and my daughter and very understanding. The front receptionists are also very lovely people. I've never felt "brushed off" and my concerns have always been meet with wonderful care.

Seems like I got a new doctor every year and then that doctor would leave. Wonder why? Can't find my medical records when I ask for them, ignores serious symptoms, and keeps you on medications when they should know that it's giving you bad side effects. My new doctor in a different city is shocked and angry, he says it's basically malpractice.
