This is the best ER I've ever been to. The way they carry their work, their duties is impeccable. Everyone of the staff is more than helpful and kind, you can really tell that those who work here want to be here because this is what they are destined to do or determined to do or passionate to do. I felt always heard and seen. I felt really cared for in and out. I will always recommend this facility to anyone near and even far. Thank you to all of the doctors and nurses and staff, you made my stay that much more comfortable and at ease.

Recently had a double hernia surgery performed at this location. The surgery was delayed a couple hours, that's not a problem, I know delays happen. The anesthesiologist couldn't find the clearance form sent from my cardiologist. Luckily I had screenshot of it on my phone. I was told by the doctor after the procedure I wouldn't be discharged until I urinated. The surgery itself went fine, the doctor talked to my wife, he was very professional and informative. The post op/recovery process is were this procedure got bad. I woke up, the nurse asked me how do you feel, I told her very thirsty, she did get me some ice chips. Then asked about my pain. I told her it was moderate, she gave me some Fentanyl. There was a clock on the wall in front of me. Less than five minutes later she told me I needed to urinate and had me get up. I was to foggy/dizzy to walk myself to the bathroom, she helped me. I told her I couldn't stand , so she said sit and try to go. Thirty seconds later she knocked and asked if I went. I told her maybe a couple drops I'm not sure. She then told someone, he went he can go home. She got my clothes and told me to get dressed while she got my wife. I'm diabetic, It was 20 hours since aI last ate, she never checked my blood sugar or asked if needed something to eat or drink. She then gave me some paperwork, very quickly went over some discharge instructions. She then told my wife to bring up the car. Less than thirty minutes from when I woke up, I was being pushed to the exit. My wife was shocked because I have had other outpatient surgery with general anesthesia before, not at this facility and was never sent home that quickly. It was a Friday afternoon and was obvious the only thing the staff cared about was going home. I felt very bad, I checked my blood sugar in the car, it was 58. My wife stopped at the first gas station and got me some orange juice. A couple hours later, when I first urinated, I had to Google to see if the blood was normal, it was. Bottom line is they sent me out the door prematurely so they could leave. I asked to be contacted by the hospital, but that never happened. I would never return to this hospital or use a doctor that only works out of Mclaren

Had a fairly complicated shoulder surgery at the McLaren Flint surgery and endoscopy center. All of the staff were exceptional, the three hour procedure went very well. I've had several other tests procedures at this center, and they always runs smoothly.

From a retired nurse; It was fine. I was there to support a friend that was there for a minor surgery. He was agitated about the whole surgery thing. An issue arose with Surgeon availability due to his being needed for an emergency. The entire time we were there the nursing staff and all handled my friend with the upmost professional care and support. Thank you all in pre-op. Great job. BTW. We left before the Doctor returned so we get to do that again, and hopefully with post-op.

I would give zero stars if I could.....they left my 85 year old aunt sitting in a wheel chair in ER for 14 hours.....never checked if she wanted water, she missed all her meds, she was not offered any food, she was soiled...only after 14 hours and me getting upset did they admit her and take her to a floor and clean her up. The one guy in ER quite literally told me she would have to sit in her dirty diaper untill she goes upstairs but said nobody was available to take her....Once on the floor they never came and helped move her occasionally. They actually told her she cant be moved cuz she cant walk on her own.....the doc that saw her was clearly confusing her with other patients and saying things that did not even apply to her and the meds she is on......she has a UTI which they would never have given antibiotics for had we not asked them to test her. The tests they did were bare minimum....they were supposed to setup a transfer to a rehab facility and asked us if we figured that out yet...only after getting upset AGAIN did they suddenly find a facility and a bed for her and a time of when she would be transported. She is still not right, still confused, still has UTI, still cant move shoulder from her falling yet they are discharging her. This place also contributed to my uncle's death.....he had covid and congestive heart failure and they left him in ER for 19 hours in a chair with no way to put his feet up which was a medical requirement from his doctor......needless to say he never walked out of that hospital......I have no idea how this hospital is not out of business from medical malpractice......absolutely horrible facility....do not send a loved one here
