Today 6/11 I called at 12:21 to schedule an echo appt since I was finally able to mail back that device they strapped to my chest for a month and DID NOT tell me why they were doing that or that I had to mail it back and being without transportation the medical rides will not take me to a post office. I was told to mail it back nearly a month after wearing it which I felt was wrong. I called today and spoke to I assume was the office manager Jasmine since I was transferred to her and again this person I spoke to refused to give me her name, said they replayed calls and the person I talked to wasn't rude when they were and highly professional, good thing I also record all of my calls and will be releasing publicly as again Dr Elian himself was kind, although he didn't explain to me why I needed to wear the monitor for 30 days he was nice however his office manager is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional.
To represent a doctor office and be that RUDE and condescending towards people is off putting and awful. The lady said I self dismissed myself when I did not all I did was cancel an appointment since I had no transportation to get there and they moved it to June which I had work obligations to tend to. Anyways the lady is upset about my prior google review yet not upset about her RUDE and unprofessional behavior. Due to her unprofessionalism and their lack of getting my prior authorization sent in a timely manner for me to get my medication in which I had to call MULTIPLE times for and each time being met with this rude lady talking to me on the phone versus simply being helpful and professional I will be filing a complaint with my insurance and with the state against the facility. I feel bad for Dr Elian but he really should employ professional and kind people who are knowledgeable and helpful over the phone versus being met with attitude when patients have questions about the care they are receiving.
So for the rude, unprofessional and distasteful attitude "office manager" JASMINE who refused to give her name again but I recognize that voice of rudeness anywhere, THIS review ma'am is written for you. Grow up, be mature, be professional and stop playing around with people's healthcare. Matthew 7:12

Constantly rescheduling my appointments. Inconsistent care. Office visits take way too long.
I had a heart issue over a year ago and had an initial appointment with Dr. Elian a week after my hospitalization to be set up with a heart monitor for 2 weeks. I can't have it fit that day, though. I have to come back in a month.
I return a month later to be told I'll be wearing the device for a month... sure.
I finish my test, return the equipment and have a follow-up appointment to review... a month later. Then it was rescheduled. I wait another month.
By now it's been close to 120 days since my hospitalization and I still don't have any type of direction or information about this.
I go in for my follow-up. Dr. Elian talks briefly with me, seemingly forgetting why I'm here. I mention it's for my follow-up for the heart monitor. He gathers my report, brings it back to the room, flips over the pages in seconds and says there's "nothing serious" in my report.
So could this have been an email?
Dr. Elian orders a stress echocardiogram. I wait two months for this. I go in, the office has to cancel and reschedule due to staff issues. This test is also in high demand, so I have to wait until nearly Christmas (literally) to get it done.
I schedule another follow-up to discuss my results. I ask over the phone if they can be sent to my PC doctor or if I can do a tele health visit with Dr . Elian as I don't see a need for me to visit this office again and waste 2.5 hours of my time doing so, for a 5 minute discussion with the Dr. They say this isn't an option. Great. I schedule the follow-up.
I come in today and I'm told there's no staff and I need to reschedule. It's actually been over a year at this point since I was hospitalized and I've done two tests that should have been done in far less time.
I let the office staff know that this was unacceptable and I've wasted so much time with this practice - is there anything we can do to wrap this up so I can get my results and move on? "Yes we can send them to your PC Dr." Great let's do that.
I don't know if Dr. Elian refuses to join the 21st century like the rest of us or what's going on - but I have wasted so much time with this practice for seemingly trivial office visits that really could have been an email or telehealth or really even just a phone call.
Look elsewhere for a cardiologist if you have the option to.
Oh, last thing, the waiting room in this office is actually disgusting. There's incredibly worn furniture that has human grease stains on them from being sat on for who knows how many years without being cleaned. Buy actual commercial grade office furniture for your practice and have it cleaned. Unacceptable.

This dr. Dismissed me as a patient "because I was to young to have heart problems." I had another dr. Pull my records from this office to find out that i refused treatment and bunch of other lies.. i would not recommend this dr. Medical malpractice hidden in the paperwork that you'll never see. It makes me wonder if it was laziness or he just didnt like medicaid payments and wanted to open up a spot for a higher paying patient.
