I had a disappointing experience at Heart and Vascular at DMC. One of the staff members(named Didi) greeted me with an irritated expression and questioned my request for an extra oxygen tank with a dismissive tone. When I calmly explained that I wanted to conserve oxygen for my mother, I was told to "be nicer"--despite the fact that her own tone lacked compassion from the start. I also asked politely for help with the oxygen cart or my mother's wheelchair, but was refused with the excuse, "My hands are occupied," even though she clearly had one hand free. I expected more empathy and professionalism, especially from in a healthcare setting.
