God forbid anyone else has to go through what my family did. When my mother was in the ER, I desperately tried to reach this doctor. His answering service called back only to say there was nothing he could do and he will call me tomorrow. That lack of communication cost my mother her life. I will not let this go unanswered.
Dr. Salka is a waste of time. After spending thousands of dollars on stress tests, MRI, and everything under the sun he still can't figure out what's wrong with my husbands heart. Everything's coming back inconclusive. So he's ordering more tests to be done which again is pointless because he's not giving us any answers. My husband canceled the catheter appt, canceled the appt for the 19th and the dr calls him. Still no answers. We already have a payment plan for a $1200 bill and we just got a bill for $2300 two days ago for a MRI. We are a family of 6 and don't have time or the money to be in medical debt without an answer as to what's wrong with my husbands heart. We will be getting the medical records and going somewhere else
Dr Salka literally saved my life, after having a massive heart attack ( segment elevation myocardial infarction) a few months ago, dr Salka unblocked both arteries at the hospital. I just want to say.. Thank you dr Salka!!
I am leaving 2 stars because I have had many issues with my appointments and still have not seen the doctor. I have had my appointments cancelled twice due to the doctor not being in that day anymore. I was rescheduled over the phone but when I showed up to my appointment they said I did not have one, even though I had the voicemail stating I had an appointment. I called to cancel my additional tests until I received the results of my first test, and they forgot to cancel them and charged me $100 in late fees which I was able to dispute. I also never recieved a call to discuss my preparation for my Holter monitor, so I was unaware that I could not shower during that time. In all, it has been very disorganized and has taken 7 weeks to get in for my results.
I've been seeing Dr. Salka for many years. He's a true professional in his field. Not only in my opinion but others who have him as their Cardiologist. God uses us in many different ways & Dr. Salka is at the position where... he heals & comforts others in need. Thank you my "brother".
