I was extremely impressed with Dr Man. I have had a chronic illness for decades, so I have a lot of experience with doctors. Dr Man was very compassionate and understanding. He was up to date on current research and practices. He was immediately able to provide help and useful insight for POTS. This was after being totally dismissed by previous cardiologist. I highly recommend Dr Man and have no idea how he could have received such a negative review.
I was excited to find Dr. Man on a reputable support website as a local doctor that offers treatment for my specific problem. At the appointment though, I was very disappointed with his demeanor and supposed expertise. He accused me of self diagnosing myself when it was actually a colleague of his that diagnosed me. He did not offer an acceptable treatment to my problem and instead tried to blame my symptoms on several other conditions that I have, even though those conditions were stable. He refused to listen to me. I was, and still am, going through a difficult time with several chronic illnesses. Dr. Man made me feel less than human and tried to humiliate me versus take good care of me. I would not recommend him as a dysautonomia specialist.
