My primary is switching from Brigham and Women's to UMass Health because they were acquired. Now I get to go from one of the best medical networks in the country to this group that is led by someone that can't figure out how to negotiate a contract with Blue Cross.
Eric Dickson MD, MHCM, FACEP Dr. I am very much aware of the shortage of medical professionals. Recently I lost two professionals; Dr Daniel Fisher, Cardiologist and Dr Lagana Podiatrist. Both want a reduction of their respective workloads. So instead of accommodating them management just allowed them to retire. As a result your hospital lost two professionals with collectivity 40+ please years of experience. This decision just does not make sense in light of the shortage of medical professionals.
