I had an absolutely outstanding experience at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The facility itself was easy to get to, with convenient parking and a clean, welcoming environment that immediately put me at ease. You can tell right away that this hospital takes pride in how it operates. The staff was amazing -- every single person I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. You don't always find that level of kindness and attentiveness in healthcare, but it's clear that the team here truly loves what they do. I especially want to recognize the nurses, who were hands-down the best I've ever dealt with. They were attentive, patient, and always took the time to explain what was happening and make sure I was comfortable. They treated me like a person, not just another patient on the schedule, which made all the difference. The follow-up care was also top-notch. They checked in after my visit to make sure everything was going well, answered all my questions, and made me feel supported even after I left the hospital. Beth Israel Deaconess Plymouth sets the standard for what healthcare should look like -- professional, compassionate, and truly patient-centered. I can't thank the staff enough for the care I received and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of quality medical care.

We just had our baby boy here. I have to say everyone was AMAZING. All the doctors and nurses made my husband and I feel so comfortable. I had a C-section and it is a big/long recovery. Everyone treated my baby and I with so much care. We stayed all 5 days and used all the resources that were provided to us. We felt so comfortable to go home with our newborn. Thank you to all of the staff who were there for us! You all were outstanding!

Dirty. Awful nurses. Doctor was good. One nurse was creepy towards my son. He's 6. She kept saying how handsome he is, cute, wouldn't address me at all. Kept coming in to give my son stuff we didn't request or want. I asked her to stop and she didn't. When walking out, the creepy nurse had a little gang of other old creepy nurses that kept fawning over my son. Gross. They never asked if I needed a single thing as his mother while I was struggling with tachycardia myself. They never addressed my mom either. Rude. FILTHY place also.

As a result of how my distress and refusal of forced care were handled during this visit, my condition significantly worsened rather than improved. Following discharge, I have experienced severe psychological distress, ongoing sleep deprivation, inability to eat, heightened anxiety, and trauma reactivation that I am still struggling with. What began as a visit for a medical concern escalated into sustained harm due to the use of coercive measures without adequate assessment, de-escalation, or consideration of my expressed needs and safety. The failure to distinguish between contextual frustration and actual risk, and the decision to override my autonomy, directly contributed to these adverse outcomes and has materially impaired my ability to recover and function.

Patient

Their bedside manners are terrible. Call light time was shocking with zero fks given, the requested devices for mobility & toilet accessibility were not met during the entirety of my visit, the required rapid response team sign was nowhere in site, the patient was in dire need of personal care assistance. The security guards were very helpful to me as well as other visitors.
