Went to this doctor over a period of a year and a half with complaints of skin rashes with lymph node involvement. . Doctor was not thorough with examination or blood work. Was seen in her office at least once a month for severe swelling of lymph nodes along w burning red w swelling skin irratations during this time, i Was not being taken seriously and I was extremely ill. Finally I was able to secure an appointment with the Rothfeld Center which they immediately discovered w a simple blood test that I had a condition called hemachromatosis. My iron and ferritin levels were off the charts. Finally after a year of monthly blood draws I have stabilized. However this could have been much worse as this disease leads to liver and kidney failure, which I am currently being followed up for. This doctor should have taken more time with me and communicated with her peers to see if they might have known from my symptoms what was going on in my body. It is my understanding that if a person has two parents of N European descent they have a one in four chance of having hemachromatosis. It should be common practice in the Greater Boston area due to the large Irish, Scottish and English ancestry that individuals be tested for the gene. A simple blood test that can detect it. No excuses!! I would not go back to this doctor for negligence.

I have found her to be very kind, caring, professional, and courteous in her treatment of me. She is very gentle during exams, and as a man in his late 50's who had always had male doctors in the past, she put me completely at ease within seconds of our first meeting. I'm looking foward to having her as my primary doctor for a long time (I hope!) to come.

My physical was not what I've been accustomed to with my former dr who is retiring. I was dissatisfied with it because I was overdue for a physical and at 78 I felt I should of at least have had the dr. feel my neck glands, look in my ears and down my throat. Also my breast exam was 2 seconds.... Part of me was happy because it was so quick but felt it was inadequate when I got home.
