Ignore the review by Marty.... Dr Lawson saved my life at Norwood Hospital when I came in by ambulance in the grip of a heart attack. His quick action and skill in the Cath Lab cleared my arterial blockage and he installed two state of the art stents to keep it open. When I was discharged from the hospital by another cardiologist, Dr Lawson followed up with a phone call to my home to check on my well being. You could not ask for a better physician.

After over 30 hours of tests then a stress test waiting over 6 hours to get results and he never spoke to me it came from nurse after several efforts to text him as I was waiting to go home.They tell me wait till Monday call my primary so he could give me a holister moniker to weak and Catholic procedure cause I had rapid heartbeat and may have blockage after only a month of stint put in by associate .He never spoke to me after stress test and had me waiting to give me the bad news of rapid heartbeat because it was now Friday 5:30 I was sent home with high anxiety I may have another blockage and pacemaker might be needed instead of monitor worn for the 2 days he recommends me to not excersize due to rapid heartbeat so left me even more anxiety when I could've worn monitor the 2 days instead he waited over 5 hrs to answer weather I could go home without monitor and he wants to do cath procedure for testing if I've got more blockage or if stint is blocked again leaving me worried and he never spoke to me ever during stress test or after after bothering nurses for hours on a result good or bad he never responded so I was in anxiety mode for hours only to have a nurse give me bad news I'll need cath procedure damaging me again for testing.Why not put monitor on me for weekend to see if my rapid heartbeat was because of melds etc.Ive been seeking new cardiologist for a full day and will be getting second opinion if this was appropriate or is the dr a scare tactic to milk my insurance company.He didn't do the stint procedure it was associate after checking reviews they indicate this dr was a 3.3 I'd give him a 1 at best for never responding and giving me the stress test results so I understood instead he waited over 5 hrs while I sat in a hospital bed thinking I'm going home as all results were good to excellent results except stress test done lastly.Ill call his office on Monday to hear his excuses and why I needed to wait and the go home worried about weather I could die.Monday I'll be seeking another cardiologist asap and highly recommend staying far away from this office of scared tactics as a way to fill there pockets.Very much felt ignored instead of sent home wearing monitor and follow up the rapid heartbeat.Marty
