James Arcoleo, DO

High on my list of physicians, if not the highest. He did not just go by the book, immediately prescribing the normal medicines for my condition, as had my PCP. He got right to the point, asked what I wanted, and discussed how to proceed that way. He listened to the approaches I wanted and scheduled tests I have wanted for years before planing to prescribe minimum doses and increase them as necessary.

Dr A and his whole team are amazing!! Be it the Northampton, Springfield (the staff there one of the best oiled teams I've ever seen, 100%), or Westfield (with Tonya at 7 am ultrasound appointments) offices they'll keep you as healthy and pain free as possible. Plenty of locations to see Dr A (not just the 3 I listed) to get follow up treatments and diagnostics as well. If you want someone with outstanding knowledge and the 'expert hands' to use that knowledge to heal then Dr A is the surgeon to see because he's got great (as they say) 'chops.' This means he can not only talk the talk (knowledge) but he walk the walk (surgical prowess). Note: I have no relationship with this practice or any staff other than being a patient and although it can be challenging to get in quickly, it's always worth the wait. On the lighter side, if you're looking for great cooking tips look no further; he'll have you making the best eggplant dishes and the humble potato won't be so humble anymore!

Doctor Arcoleo is an excellent cardiologist. He takes the time needed for my visit. He orders the right tests to be done. After tests are preformed he has a follow-up visit explaining detailed results. If any other tests need to be done they are scheduled in a very timely manner. The receptionists are very pleasant and patient with you if you don't understand all the details. His nurses are very pleasant also. Most tests are done right there where the location of his office is. I personally find Doctor Arcoleo's very pleasant manner very comforting.

I got to see Dr Arcoleo for all of 2 minutes before he just got up and left mid-sentence. I was disappointed with this whole experience.

Direct and thorough. Overall, a great experience that addressed any issues I had.
