Dr. Sunit Mukherjee

I've been seeing Dr Mukherjee since I can remember for my heart. His reputation precedes him. I had a bad heart attack 5 years ago and he saved my life. I saw him years ago when he was at St Elizabeth's in Boston, now he heads up the cardiac care Department. I will highly recommend him to everyone.

I had the best experience i have ever had with a Dr in all of my life. It started as what i thought was heartburn around noon time and got worse. By 6:30 pm i knew it was bad. I went to LGH where i almost immediately went into cardiac arrest. I was scared and knew i was dying. They brought me to the cath lab where Dr Mukherjee was waiting with his phenomenal staff. Ive never had any invasive med procedures in my life and at 44 years old I was nervouse. The Dr told me that he had to do this procedure to save my life so I put it in his and his staffs hands as well as gods hands. Not only did he save my life but I didnt feel any discomfort at all. His nurse Danielle Garcia I believe her name was was also amazing. It was like she could read my mind as far as comfort went.i was feeling warm and all of a sudden a cool cloth was on my forehead. I would recommend this amazing team to anyone who meeds a cardiologist. Dr Mukherjee has my trust 100%

I have had Dr. Mukherjee as my cardiologist for the past 12 years. I have had multiple heart attacks and have 8 stents. I would not let anyone but him be my doctor. I travel to Maine a lot and I told my husband that if anything ever happens only take me to Lawrence General so i can have him. I have referred him to family and friends and everyone has been happy with him and the staff. I wouldn't see anyone else.

Not happy with the staff. Called to insist i play 20$ before i can have an appointment. Office policy they said. The also lost records and test results and everytime i requested them i got the run around.. the dr himself seems genuine and thorough when he is involved but when dealing with the heart, life or death they should be more professional. He may be good at stints but the rest is mediocre.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a providers office. Rude and dismissive receptionist and nursing staff, poor communication with reporting late to an appointment for my father. The person seeing him didn't show up for over 45 minutes. Just awful, I'd recommend working with a different location by far if you can. This place is just an exercise in frustration and poor service.
