Southcoast Cardiology and Primary Care- Alan J. Weinshel, MD

Very very rude receptionist! I said that I needed a physical for work and chose the doctor as my pcp. She said no appointments until August. She kept saying "it ain't gonna happen " very flat and very rude. I see I'm not the only one complaining about her. Will change doctors ASAP because of her. Hope he reads this and if she thinks I'm calling back- it ain't gonna happen!

After care went down, they started raising my charge level for no reason, I disputed the charges, asked why the difference and they could not tell me or provide me with a reason why I was getting charged more (not insurance, their level system... no change i went from 1-4 within a year, no changes to health or service.) After dispute I did not hear from them for a year, they sent me another bill, I asked again why the change in service, why I was getting changed 4x for the same appointments and same conditions. No answer. SENT MY BILL TO A DEBT COLLECTOR. Never explained why the increase. Shady stuff. Could of just called me, never took the time. Never cared for Dr. Weinshel, so I switched to NP Paula F. She was great for a few years, then something changed and service plummeted. Felt like she never was up to date for my appointments. I had to correct her a few times on changing medications, she was misreading the charts. Seemed like for the last 4 years she just doesn't care anymore. Its a shame because she was great at the beginning. TIME TO RETIRE.

Dr weinshel np paula are the best there is every one there are truly awesome and care about their patients so much different from big companies

I would not go here, very unprofessional receptionist. I had an appointment with them and Adriana said she tried both numbers. I only have one phone. Adriana was very rude and cutting me off when I told her she was calling the wrong number. Now I have to wait a month to get another appointment. This is my first and last time dealing with this Doctors office. She was telling and arguing with me still when I told her I deal with high anxiety. I've been waiting... She hung up, I called back she answers with an attitude. VERY ignorant to patients needs. If they had no star that's what I would give Adriana. I'm looking for a professional and caring place. This is a cardiologist office. I'm disgusted

I have nothing but positive things to share about Dr. Weinshel and his medical office. The staff is very caring and friendly, and Dr. Weinshel is experienced, very knowledgeable, great at diagnosing, and an excellent doctor.
