Cliff Berger, MD, is an interventional cardiologist with over 30 years of experience in the Boston area. Dr. Berger completed his residency and fellowship in Cardiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and has been on staff at Brigham & Women's, Boston Medical Center, and St Elizabeth's Medical Center. He now serves as the Chief of Cardiology at BID-Hospital Needham and is a member of the interventional cardiology staff at BIDMC and BID-Plymouth.

Always a positive experience to see Dr. Berger. Office staff is efficient, professional, and friendly. Any messages left are answered promptly. Dr. Berger is so thorough. He asks many questions and listens to the answers! He addresses all concerns with complete explanations. Incorporates the latest developments in the field to give complete information. The best part of a visit is his summary at the end, where he lists issues and plans to deal with them, making sure that I understand and agree. Sometimes there are waits due to emergencies with other patients, but patients are always kept informed when there is a delay. Can't recommend him enough!

I met Dr. Berger in the ER almost three years ago when I walked in during a cardiac event. Unbeknownst to me I was having a heart attack. He was and still is an amazing, knowledgeable, caring, kind, "one-of-a-kind" doctor. Truly. Unfortunately, having several medical conditions I have many doctors. Most of whom are in Boston and the Boston hospitals. I considered being transferred to Boston during my heart episode. After consulting with another attending cardiologist during my stay in the cardiac ICU I decided to stay and stick with Dr. Berger. I am forever grateful that I did. I am beyond blessed and appreciative of Dr. Berger. He answered every question/concern with care and consideration and still does almost three years later. Dr. Berger is a class act top notch doctor!
