Karen M. Fanucci, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Fanucci for over 20 years and for the past 2 or 3 years have been pushed to the NP for my care. The NP is very nice but I would like to see Dr. Fanucci since she is my doctor and knows my history. Also, trying to reach the office to speak to someone has been extremely challenging. The message only gives you 3 options of which you must leave a message, no call back ever comes. There is no options to speak to the front office for any questions. I have left many messages and no return calls. I am extremely disappointed in the service and how they are handling patients. I have always been satisfied with Dr. Fanucci's care and manner but now I'm rethinking about this practice and if I should start looking elsewhere.

I have been seeing Dr. Fanucci for about 7 years now and she is very caring.and easy to talk to. I have been having some health problems lately and she doesnt hesitate to submit labwork for me. Her office is small yes but they make up for it in a comfortable environment. Reminds me.of an old family practice not a place that has 6 Drs on staff seeing patients back to back. I highly recommend her and will continue to see her.

I have been going to Dr. Fanucci for three years now. She and her medical staff are all professional, patient, and attentive. They give you the time you need to ask any questions and do not rush you out the door. I would highly recommend this practice for any of your medical needs. They care about your health.

I cannot speak for Dr. Karen Fannucci because I did not see her. I saw the nurse practitioner, Dierdre Kells. Unfortunately, my experience with her was incredibly disappointing. I went in for a specific issue and asked if I could quickly mention something related. I completely understand that appointments have time limits, and I would have been fine if she had politely said no. Instead, she was rude and dismissive, cutting me off mid-sentence and speaking over me. She said "No, sorry" with a smug smirk, and when I tried to explain that it was related to my visit, she interrupted me again with another firm "no." I have severe anxiety and haven't been to a doctor in years because of it. Her attitude made me feel panicked and uncomfortable, and instead of making me feel like I was in good hands, I felt rushed out the door. She also didn't explain the next steps. She just left the room without telling me where to go or who to check out with. I was handed a referral, but it was simply a phone number written on a sticky note with no further guidance. That being said, the nurses and staff were great. They were friendly, professional, and helpful. I really appreciated how kind they were, which made the experience a little easier. I canceled my follow-up appointment because I don't feel comfortable going back. If you're looking for a provider who listens, treats you with kindness, and makes you feel like a priority, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

Dr. Fanucci is an excellent physician. I have seen her for four years now and she has been exemplary in her diagnostic ability and most of all her caring. She listens to everything you say taking it all in before making a preliminary diagnosis. She is current in her medical knowledge but applies it in an old school way. She is a true family physician not simply a medical copay factory. If you want knowledgeable, caring and compassionate care she is it. I will not go to anyone else. I trust her. You will too.
