Dr Coffin is a very down to earth and honest doctor. I recently moved to MA and had to try and find a new PCP. I found him and all of his staff are extremely friendly. Easy to talk to and open and honest about everything. They helped relieve a lot of stress and I see myself being here for the foreseeable future
Just had my first appointment with Dr Coffin and he was amazing. He listened to all my concerns and tried to find a solution right away to make me feel better, he made me feel very comfortable. Dr Coffin is very knowledgeable and would be a great choice for anyone's PCP. Highly recommend.
I can not share the good experience others have had and can not recommend this office. This was unfortunately the worst experience I had with a primary care office. Issues with the office started arising when I asked to be referred for procedures outside of Charles River as they were closer to me and/ or I had past experiences with them. The office was not able to complete these referrals the way they needed to be completed. I was often sent back to the PCP office with further instructions needed but they were unable to complete them. If having everything done through Charles River isn't an issue this shouldn't apply as a concern for people. Although even when I finally agreed to have one procedure done through them I felt a lack of support when that procedure was cancelled the day before. Dr Coffin himself also did not provide care the way I had hoped. Concerns were dismissed for example. One time I tried to speak to the on call provider and was told to call back after 30 minutes if I hadn't heard. I did that a total of three times just to learn when the office opened that Dr coffin was off and was the assigned on call provider. Apparently the on call line wasn't aware.
I had my first appointment with Dr. Coffin and was truly impressed. He took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything thoroughly, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout our conversation. His approach was a perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness, which immediately put me at ease. The clinic staff was just as wonderful--attentive, kind, and welcoming. I highly recommend this clinic!
Shockingly expensive urgent care service connected this provider. And did not process a referral request. I am seeking new primary care.
