It's not a very professional place. I called to see if their taking new patients and they said yes but then gave me the rin around and wasn't very knowledgeable about anything i asked or their job! I'm confused?? Their front desk don't know what their doing! As far as the Doctors...I'm sure they don't know how many patients their gonna lose over this..so sad!

He's one of the best in Massachusetts. The fact that he taught his patients how to solve your own problem by discipline yourself by doing exercises and diet, it hard to do if you're following his advices you'll be alright.

My family and I have been coming here for a while now and I must say that I am impressed. The atmosphere is both positive and friendly, making trips to the doctor that much easier. The waiting time is minimal compared to other health care providers where I have had to wait for over an hour just to be attended to. Individual attention and one on one time allow for patients to really get to know their physicians and vice-versa. My own personal physician is Dr. Singh and I have to say that he is amazing! He is not just concerned with the physical health of his patients but also emotional and psychological aspects as well, offering helpful advice and tips that I have found to be incredibly valuable. He also somehow manages to make me leave his office laughing or smiling any time I go there. The bottom line is that if you are considering here as one of your options, then I suggest that it be your number one choice!

It had been 12 years since the last time I had seen a doctor when I turned 38 in January this year, and I was at least 70 pounds overweight, obese by medical standards, and it was taking a toll on me. I knew it was time to do what I had been dreading for a long time; to find a doctor and get ready to hear some scary news regarding my health from him. After browsing through a few doctors from my health insurance provider network, I chose Dr. Singh. Dr. Singh is a general internal medicine doctor but also specializes in cardiology. He graduated from Lucknow University in India in 1964, and has been practicing at his own clinic in Malden for over 30 years. He serves in multiple boards around Boston including MGH & Harvard . He jogs for an hour every morning, fixes cars in his spare time, reads for four hours, and he is 86 years old. He told me that his goal is to live 115 years, and by how he looks and his positive demeanor, I have no doubt he will live 200 years. I remember the first time I went to his office. After checking my vitals and asking a few questions about my life history, and my daily diet and activities, he asked me what I wanted to do. I told him I wanted to get into a medical routine to at least doing my physical check-ups every year. He looked at me straight in the eyes and told me, Papa, you are massively overweight, most likely 100 pounds over your normal weight, and if you don't try taking that under control now, most likely you will have a massive heart attack in 3 to 5 years max. Is that bad! really? I said a bit incredulous. Of course he said, I'm sure you have leg joints problem, get tired all the time, and have problems sleeping at night because of stress and breathing issues, I'm sure you snort like a pig too, he said. After rubbing my head a couple of times in frustration, what do I need to do? I asked him. Who does the cooking at your home he asked, my wife I said, well, I can't help you and won't help you if your wife is not part of this process, so come back with your wife and we will talk then he said closing his notepad. After calling my wife from his office to tell her the news, we agreed to meet the next day. After he got my wife up to speed with all my health issues, and instructing her in the way she needed to prepare the food for me, they agreed on a plan. Then turning his attention to me he said, and eat what your wife put on the table for you regardless if you like it or not, is for your own good, it seems like all you've been eating all this time is meat, so give the cows a break! Then because of my high blood pressure, and cholesterol he prescribed me some pills, and some magic pills that were supposed to reduce my food cravings. We agreed I would be coming to his office every two weeks to check on my progress. Since February when I started the plan until now I have lost over 50 pounds. Every two weeks when I go to his office he looks at me and says, you look younger and younger every time, and look at your wife, she looks much happier too, and that's probably because you no longer snort like a pig! haha. Since I have been seeing and talking with Dr. Singh I have learned that he is a natural philosopher, he talks about from how to manage money to how technology is changing the world. The last time I was at his office I noticed he had a business book titled "Leading Change" on his desk. Do you evolve with the times Dr. Singh I asked him while grabbing the book to take a look. Oh yeah he said candidly, you have to. Life is like a river he said, it might look static from afar, but the water that runs through is different all the time. What happens when the water gets stuck and doesn't flow for a long time? he asked me, It gets contaminated and stings I said, aha, that's what happens to us if we don't change he said with a triumphant grin. Every two weeks my wife and I look forward to Dr. Singh's visit as we always learn something new from him. He is not just a great doctor, he is also a mentor, and awesome storyteller.
