Dr. Richard Zelman has been affiliated with Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital since 1990. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Zelman graduated medical school from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX, and completed his residency at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. Dr Zelman is a caring and empathic physician. I had a recent cardiac catheterization by Dr Zelman and I found the entire process to be stressless. His support staff made me feel comfortable from the time I arrived for my procedure until the time I left the hospital.
Dr. Zelma and his team saved my life twice. In 2010 and 2013. I couldn't believe I could get world-class care on Cape Cod. But having heart attacks both times, I had to go to the closest hospital, which was Cape Cod Hospital. I couldn't wait or travel far. But what do I do now if he's not allowed to practice there?!!
Richard is a phenomenal cardiologist! My highest recommendation.
